Overview

The Crowcon FGard UVIR flame detector is an explosion proof ultraviolet-infrared flame detector, offering superior detection of hydrocarbon fires which are not detectable in the visible spectrum.

False Alarm Immunity

Fgard UVIR utilises the latest IR flame detection algorithms to ensure maximum false alarm immunity.

Adjustable Sensitivity Levels

The user can choose from three different sensitivity settings, enabling selection of the most appropriate level for their specific application.

Heated optics

Microprocessor controlled heated optics ensure continuous operation even in harsh weather conditions such as snow, ice, and condensation.

Advanced optical verification – No reflector

Automatic test verifies cleanliness of the lens and electronic circuitry. No reflector optical check and large optical surface results in far fewer false alarms.
